Anomabo beach and the Posuban shrines

About this experience
Anomabo was the busiest slave-trading beach on the Gold Coast in the eighteenth century and is a fishing town now, with one of the longest beaches in the Central Region. Besides Fort William, the town holds several Posuban — the extraordinary concrete shrines of the Fante asafo companies, built as ships, lions and tiered forts, and painted. Walk the town, then the sand. — Indicative price. Entry and guide fees at this site are set by the body that manages it and change from time to time; the amount is confirmed when you book.
