Kane Kwei Carpentry Workshop, Teshie

About this experience
The workshop where the figurative coffin began. Seth Kane Kwei built a cocoa-pod coffin for a farmer in the 1950s and an art form followed; the shop is still run by his family and still takes commissions from Ga families and from museums. Smaller and more personal than a general workshop tour, and the people there knew the man. — Indicative price. Entry and guide fees at this site are set by the body that manages it and change from time to time; the amount is confirmed when you book.
