Manhyia Palace Museum, Kumasi
1 / 5About this experience
Built in 1925 for Asantehene Prempeh I on his return from exile in the Seychelles, and home to the Asante kings until 1974, when it became a museum. The rooms are kept much as they were, and the collection covers the Golden Stool, the Asante court and the wars with Britain. The best introduction there is to the Asante kingdom. — Indicative price.
