Princes Town and Fort Groß Friedrichsburg

About this experience
On 1 January 1681 a Brandenburg-Prussian expedition signed a treaty with the Ahanta chiefs at Pokesu and built Groß Friedrichsburg on Manfro Hill — the only German colonial fort in Ghana. The Prussians sold out to the Dutch in 1717; the hill, the fort and the village, now called Princes Town, remain. The beach below is one of the emptiest on this coast. — Indicative price.
