Teshie fantasy coffins
1 / 5About this experience
In Ga tradition a person is buried in the shape of what they did or loved, so the carpentry shops along the Teshie road build coffins as fish, aeroplanes, cocoa pods, sandals, mobile phones and Coca-Cola bottles. They are made to be buried and they are also in the British Museum and the Centre Pompidou. The workshops welcome visitors and will explain who each one is for. — Indicative price.
