The Pra estuary at Shama
1 / 2About this experience
The Pra is one of the great rivers of southern Ghana, draining the Ashanti goldfields and the Birim diamond country before it reaches the sea at Shama. The estuary is wide and busy with canoes, and Fort São Sebastião — the third oldest fort in the country — stands over the mouth. River and fort are one short visit. — Indicative price.
